Artist's Comments

I called this Sitting on Despair because they are sitting on the problem. If you sit on your problems, you aren't going to get them resolved. As much fun as it is to sit on top of the car, you need to get down there and get to the source of the problem and fix it. In the same way, we need to stop just leaving our problems because they will still be there when we get back. Peace :)

I will come look at the picture later... I promise... But I am off to read my bible... Your artist comment there, is like a direct message from God to my heart. I can't sit on my problems...I need to resolve them... Thank you... haha... Hope this isnt too weird, but reading it made me cry how....perfect a thing it was to hear... Catch you soon!

Wow, I didn't notice they were on a car, at first it looked like a tree... Or maybe I'm just a loser like that. >.<

I don't think I've ever seen something so meaningful and beautiful. And I don't want to get too into this analysis thing, but even if you didn't mean for this to happen, here's how I saw this photo. The left side of the frame generally represents the past or present, and the right side is the future. Right now, they're sitting on the problem, ignoring it, hoping it will go away... the sky is dark overhead and there is no light... But, in the future, near or far away, they will face their problems and the sun will shine again...

So yeah.. This photo really blows my mind. The only thing that bothers me a bit is how grainy the sky seems. Otherwise, everything is outstanding.
